Overview: 

The Fortin 33 pedal has +22dB of clean gain on tap and can push your tube amplifier or modelling amp into high-gain territory fast, getting you to that ultra-tight heavy tone yet maintaining your guitar’s core tonality.

The Fredrik Thordendal’s signature 33 pedal! The 33 is a sonic detonator tool that will transform any amplifier into a metal wrecking ball machine.

Boost level control provides up to +22dB of level with added side remote 1/4” jack for 'channel switching' with mini slide switch to change orientation normally open or closed. Industry standard true bypass switching. Top side mounted jacks and DC inlet for tight pedal board mounting applications. Matte Black powder coat finish with gloss black screening.

The 33 is a clean boost and works exactly like a class A preamp with it's own distinct voicing and harmonic saturation for gain staging your rig. 

The Q roll offs are gentle giving it a full but focussed, incredibly warm and transparent voice. but with enough power at 22DB to kick the front of your amp in. 

How does it compare to the Fortin Grind though ?
It takes all of the meat and potatoes from the Grind, adds the additional channel switcher and Fredriks preferred Q's and attenuations for a tight sound, no flub, no wet fart, mud flapping tones. What I love is how it really fills out the mid lows in a super rounded way.If there is any compression it is so transparent it's imperceptible.

Channel Switch.

The 33 connects directly to your amplifiers' channel switch with the side remote 1/4 jack for channel control. So when you engage the 33 you can switch your channels and keep it tight without a tap dance.
